Sustaining our focus on growth, innovation, and international engagement, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Business Operations Manager.

Kaupapa:

To deliver high-quality business operations services that support international recruitment and associated business activities at EIT. This includes providing effective, efficient, and compliant admissions and operational support to enable the recruitment of quality international students. A strong focus is placed on ensuring a positive and seamless experience for prospective students throughout their engagement with EIT.

Key Responsibilities:

This role provides operational leadership and expert support across all aspects of international student recruitment, admissions, and business processes at EIT. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of international recruitment and admissions services, ensuring an efficient, high-quality experience for prospective students.
  • Overseeing business operations and compliance functions, including agent commissions, finance tasks, and adherence to NZQA, INZ, and Code of Practice standards.
  • Developing and maintaining international admissions policies, including entry requirements and qualifications equivalency, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Managing and enhancing information systems and data reporting to support recruitment planning, marketing, and service delivery improvements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement through analysis, reporting, and development of operational processes and CRM systems.
  • Providing leadership and coordination across international enquiries management, including inbox and CRM oversight.
  • Contributing to institutional compliance, service development, and the successful onboarding and induction of new International Centre staff.

 We are looking for someone who brings the following strengths:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a tertiary education environment
  • Proven understanding of international student recruitment practices and partnership management
  • Strong knowledge of international education systems and qualification assessment processes
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting high-quality policy and operational documentation
  • Confident in analysing data and interpreting trends to support decision-making
  • Experience managing or supervising staff is an advantage
  • Culturally responsive, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse countries and backgrounds
