 Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

The part-time (0.6 FTE 22.5 hours per week) Programme Administrator role is essential for providing high-quality administrative support within the EIT | Te Pūkenga Faculty Administration Team. It ensures efficient operation and excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. 

The appointing salary for this role will be between $56,000 and $59,000, FTE dependent on skills and experience.

The Programme Administrator is based in our Administrator Team | Te Pūkenga in Taradale, reporting to the Faculty Administration Manager in Education, Humanities and Health Science and will be responsible for:    

  • Provide accurate information and support at the School reception and through various communication channels.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as processing correspondence, organizing class lists, and maintaining student records.
  • Support programme and tutor activities, including word processing, arranging interviews, and managing evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and participate in relevant meetings and training.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Strong knowledge and experience in office administration.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with fast and accurate word processing abilities.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
