Available now a full-time permanent position that will support EIT to advance and strengthen staff capability in Te Ao Māori and our curriculum in relation to kaupapa Māori and mātauranga Māori across our portfolio of courses and programmes. The successful candidate will play an important role as part of the EIT Māori student success team led by the Executive Director of Māori.
Essential requirements include:
A high level of skill and knowledge in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, experience in building people’s capability in Te Ao Māori and experience in developing and incorporating mātauranga Māori and kaupapa Māori into tertiary level academic programmes. Knowledge and experience of current learning and teaching practice including the application of technology that supports learning.
In addition, it is important that you possess the necessary effective interpersonal communication skills for working with diverse audiences, including faculty staff, students, technologists, management and other staff.
