Are you an experienced veterinary professional? Does the opportunity to influence training of our veterinary nurses for the future appeal?
Permanent position(s) have become available in Hawke’s Bay on the beautiful East Coast of the North Island for veterinary nursing lecturer(s) to join a leading tertiary education provider.
Applications for part time or fulltime work will be considered and as delivery is a mix of both face-to-face and online teaching, the successful applicant(s) do not necessarily need to reside in Hawke’s Bay.
EIT delivers animal care and veterinary nurse programmes that work in partnership with veterinary clinics and animal care facilities to provide students with a balance between theory, self-directed on-line learning, practice and work integrated learning.
We are seeking to appoint one or more well-established, credible and passionate veterinary/veterinary nurse professional(s) to enhance delivery of these programmes. Opportunities for higher level study, research and leadership will be available and part of the role.
A relevant tertiary qualification is essential, preferably at Postgraduate level. If you have limited tertiary teaching experience you would be well supported to develop the skills needed.
In addition EIT can offer you a whanau friendly environment, access to tertiary study, Health and Wellbeing programme and generous leave provisions.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity in confidence please email Gwenda Kevern, Head of School, on email@example.com
